Together with RHEA, EDGE is happy to announce the 8th biennial conference of the Afroeuropeans Network titled "Intersectional Challenges in Afroeuropean Communities".
The Afroeuropeans Network conference will be held 7-10 July 2021 in Brussels, on the campus of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with keynote speakers Philomena Essed, Cécile Kyenge and Kehinde Andrews.
The conference is organised by an international team affiliated to different universities and in collaboration with academic and non-academic partners across Brussels and beyond. The conference focuses on Intersectional Challenges in Afroeuropean Communities and aims to be a conference for, by, and with Afroeuropeans, with the contribution of their allies and in dialogue with other marginalised groups.
The call for panels is now open! All info can be found on the Afroeuropeans 2021 conference website.
